We honor our dear friend, Johnny Moonbeam Harris, and soulfully mourn his loss. Anyone who knew Johnny was fortunate to have had him in their lives. Moonbeam was and remains our inspirational leader. His service to his Country as a US Naval Helicopter Pilot should be enough to tell you of this man's character, love and loyalty. A self taught guitarist, he loved his craft and his ability to entertain us all and on so many levels. We are forever grateful to John for having known him as friend, mentor, son, dad, husband, brother, golf buddy, confidant - and lead guitarist. John will always be with us. His was a life well lived, an example well set and a loss to be never filled.
All hail, Johnny Moonbeam! Built like a Mechamazon,
This is first known photo of the Reptiles and perhaps the only one ever taken. Just a casual jam, we've got Moonbeam on his guitar, Roxanne, with Bermy on the Bass, Not That Jerry on guitar and mistakenly out of the shot, Eric G on the keys and Jumpin' Justin on percussion. Also out of the shot are our opening act, "See Alice and Hot Librarians," always on our tour and in our hearts.
